Real-life singers EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami hit the NYC streets for the 99th annual Macy\u2019s Thanksgiving Day Parade<\/a> on Thursday to bring to life the fictional girl band Huntr\/X and perform their hit \u201cKPop Demon Hunters\u201d song, \u201cGolden.\u201d<\/p>\n

It all kicked off right after cameras showed one of the parade\u2019s newest balloons, Derpy Tiger, which is a fan-favorite character from the Netflix movie.<\/p>\n

EJAE, who was sporting an all-black outfit with a fluffy, lavendar hat, started the track surrounded by background dancers. She then passed the song over to Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna before reuniting at the end for a dramatic conclusion to their performance, where they were showered with confetti. <\/p>\n

Cheers and roars from a portion of the more than 3.5 million spectators filled the streets, and production even caught actor and comedian Ken Jeong, who also stars in \u201cKPop Demon Hunters,\u201d singing right along.<\/p>\n

As you can see in the clip above, the song is beloved by many and has broken ground for the K-pop genre in America. \u201cGolden\u201d has earned four Grammy nominations<\/a>, including Song of the Year, and became the first K-pop song by an all-female group to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.<\/p>\n

\u201cKPop Demon Hunters\u201d hit Netflix screens on June 20, while also grossing $24.6 million at the global box office. It is also the streamer\u2019s top movie of all time<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Along with Huntr\/X, several other musicians checked into the parade to perform, including Cynthia Erivo, Kool & the Gang, Lil Jon, Taylor Momsen and more. The parade took place in New York City on Thursday, with a 2.5-mile route from West 77th St. and Central Part West to Macy\u2019s Herald Square.<\/p>\n
