\"LiteTom Taggart\u2019s Seven Ranges Radio sells Classic Rock 92.3 WXCR<\/a> New Martinsville and AC \u201cLite Rock 93R<\/a>\u201d 93.9 WRRR-FM St. Marys\/Parkersburg WV to Brandon Scott Northcraft, Clay Perkins and Clinton Perkins\u2019 Hometown Media for $870,000. The deal includes the studio\/office building and towers along with a land lease for one of the sites. The buyer owns Country \u201cC98.3 The Bull<\/a>\u201d WCEF Ripley WV, while the seller retains AC \u201cV96.9<\/a>\u201d WVVV Williamstown\/Parkersburg. In a separate deal, Taggart\u2019s Mid Ohio Valley Radio Corporation sells 107.9 W300AQ St. Marys to Hometown Media for $50,000. The deal continues to list the seller\u2019s Oldies 1450 WVAM<\/a> Parkersburg as originating station as it will be leased back to them.<\/p>\n

With Alan and Joanna Usher\u2019s Usher Media acquiring NRG Media\u2019s five stations<\/a> in Grand Island\/Hastings\/Kearny NE for $3.75 million, the couple is selling their 32% stake in cross-market Legacy Communications, known as GI Family Radio, to partner Joseph J. Vavricek Irrevocable Trust for $1.8 million paid in annual instalments over 25 years at an interest rate of 4.55%. Joanna Usher, the daughter of Vavricek, will resign her position as co-trustee and replaced by Benjamin Lans, while Alan Usher will resign as an officer of the company. Legacy\/GI Family Radio owns \u201cCountry 96.5<\/a>\u201d KRGI-FM Grand Island, Classic Rock \u201c97.3 The Wolf<\/a>\u201d KRGY Aurora, Rock \u201cThunder 97.7<\/a>\u201d KMTY Gibbon, CHR \u201c103.1 2DayFM<\/a>\u201d KKJK Ravenna, News\/Talk 1430 KRGI<\/a>\/105.5 K288HC Grand Island, Regional Mexican \u201cLa Gran D<\/a>\u201d 93.3 K227BQ Grand Island\/KRGI-HD2, Stunting 99.7 K259CZ Grand Island\/KRGI-HD3, and Classic Country \u201c103.5 The Legend<\/a>\u201d K278BR Grand Island\/KRGI-HD4 in the Grand Island market and CHR \u201c93.9 The Zone<\/a>\u201d KSWN McCook, Classic Country \u201cTrue Country 102.1<\/a>\u201d KZMC McCook, and Country \u201cCoyote 105.3<\/a>\u201d KIOD McCook<\/p>\n

Family Life Ministries makes a pair of purchases in Central Pennsylvania. First Richard Cooper\u2019s Cooper Communications sells AC 98.9 WQLV<\/a> Millersburg PA for $300,000.<\/p>\n

Williamsport Independent Media sells 88.5 WXPI Jersey Shore PA for $20,000. The deal will allow Williamsport Independent Media to sign-on its LPFM CP on 97.1 Williamsport after closing.<\/p>\n

George and Patricia Kimble\u2019s RadioForSale LLC acquires 920 KKGX\/99.1 K256CU Palm Springs from Ivox Radio for $60,000. The deal will include relocating K256CU to the KKGX tower site, which is not included in the deal. A Time Brokerage Agreement took effect on November 1. Ivox Radio retains 1340 KWXY<\/a>\/92.3 K222DA Cathedral City.<\/p>\n

Rubin Broadcasting purchases Silent 1310 KKZI Barstow CA from Jeff Chang for $15,000. As part of the deal Chang will purchase airtime on Rubin\u2019s two LPTV\u2019s in Salinas CA. Rubin owns five other radio stations in California.<\/p>\n

Kyle Mandapat will acquire 567 KGUM\/96.5 K243CS Agana, Guam from Sorenson Pacific Broadcasting for $10,000. KGUM has been mostly silent since October 2023 first due to a failed transmitter exciter and then financial distress. Its former \u201cK57\u201d News\/Talk programming moved then to sister \u201cWave 105.1<\/a>\u201d KGUM-FM. Sorenson retains its three FMs and two television stations in Guam.<\/p>\n

Relevant Radio purchases 98.3 W252BR Edgemere MD from Chesapeake Media Partners for $350,000. Following a modification application, Relevant will utilize the translator to rebroadcast their Catholic 750 WBMD<\/a> Baltimore.<\/p>\n

North Atlantic Media acquires 101.7 W269DH Leesburg VA from Hasmukh Shah\u2019s 1520 Radio Asia for $115,000. The buyer will utilize the translator to rebroadcast their Regional Mexican \u201cLa Pantera<\/a>\u201d 1220 WFAX\/100.7 W264DB Falls Church.<\/p>\n

Sale Withdrawals<\/p>\n

Anco Media Group has cancelled the transfer of control application that would have given Christopher Cook\u2019s XCVR Corp. a controlling 50% stake<\/a> in Dance \u201cRevolution 93.5<\/a>\u201d WBGF Belle Glade\/WZFL Islamorada\/W228BY Miami FL for $800,000. Cook will now acquire a smaller stake that will keep Marco Mazzoli as controlling shareholder.<\/p>\n

Gow Translators is walking away from its May 2024 application<\/a> to purchase 92.5 K223CW Houston from SDK Franco for $1.1 million. Gow had been operating the signal as an in-city booster for their Sports \u201cESPN 97.5<\/a>\u201d KFNC Mont Belvieu via Radio One\u2019s 97.9 KBXX-HD2 Houston.
