The famed singer posted a Thanksgiving message on her verified Instagram account.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cDear friends, today is a beautiful reminder to slow down, take a deep breath, and give thanks,\u201d she said in the opening of the clip. \u201cThere\u2019s something so powerful about gathering with the people you love, whether around the full table, over the phone, or even just in your heart.\u201d<\/p>\n In 2022 she revealed that she had stiff person syndrome.<\/a><\/p>\n The disorder<\/a> is \u201ca rare, progressive syndrome that affects the nervous system, specifically the brain and spinal cord,\u201d according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.<\/a><\/p>\n The following year it was announced she had canceled her \u201cCourage World Tour<\/a>,\u201d with a source close to her telling CNN at the time that she \u201cwill likely never tour again.\u201d<\/p>\n During her holiday video Dion said she was \u201cso thankful to my family and our moments together that mean the world to me.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMay your Thanksgiving be filled with joy, with peace, and with gratitude for everything even the little things,\u201d she concluded her message. \u201cHappy Thanksgiving from me and my family to you and yours.\u201d<\/p>\n In 2024 the documentary \u201cI Am: C\u00e9line Dion\u201d was released, which documented her painful battle with the syndrome.<\/p>\n For more CNN news and newsletters create an account at CNN.com<\/a><\/p>\n
