You can delete a post, but screenshots last forever. Dancing with the Stars pro Witney Carson is learning that first-hand this week. She uploaded a screenshot of her texts, showing off a cute exchange she had with her hubby. In the process, she exposed a shady swipe she took at Season 34’s Dylan Efron. The post has since been deleted, but DWTS fans are still talking about it.

Witney Carson said Dylan Efron was “trying to get votes” by inviting brother Zac Efron to Dancing with the Stars

Ahead of the DWTS Season 34 finale, Witney posted an Instagram Reel where she praised her husband for showing support throughout Season 34. In one screenshot, showing him complimenting a performance with Robert Irwin, an eagle-eyed fan from the r/DWTS Reddit clocked a text that Witney probably didn’t expect us to see.

“Zac Efron is here,” her husband wrote, to which Witney replied, “I saw! They are trying to get votes.”

First of all, duh. Who isn’t trying to get votes? Plus, it’s an especially ironic take to say about Dylan’s brother, considering DWTS producers framed Robert’s entire time on the show around the fact that his sister won the Mirrorball Trophy 10 years ago.

On Reddit, hundreds of DWTS fans reacted to Witney’s comment about the Efrons. Although some believe it was just an innocent observation, most people felt convinced that this was shade.

“This is so rude to say let alone post … if he really wanted to get votes that desperately he could’ve had Zac there every week,” one fan wrote.

Others called out the fact that Robert pulled his own stunts to get votes. He somehow got Prince William to make a cameo, and his big sister, Bindi Irwin, rarely missed a taping of Season 34. What do you call that?

“That’s a little crazy,” another Redditor replied. “I’d bet everything I have that the only reason Zac never went to watch Dylan (until last week) is to avoid this specific situation: being uncredited for the work and progress he made this season and people saying he only moved on [because] of Zac.”

With or without Zac, Dylan wasn’t able to secure enough points to secure a victory in Season 34. Robert and Witney took home the Mirrorball Trophy. Dylan and his partner, Daniella Karagach, finished in fourth.

Dancing with the Stars is streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.

TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON WITNEY’S COMMENTS ABOUT THE EFRONS? WAS SHE BEING SHADY, OR ARE WE TAKING IT OUT OF CONTEXT?

The post DWTS Pro Witney Carson’s Shady Text About Dylan Efron Exposed in Now-Deleted Post appeared first on Reality Tea.

You can delete a post, but screenshots last forever.
