With most shows off for the day, the newsroom was unusually quiet\u2014until a furry visitor turned the station into a wildlife rescue center. The squirrel had somehow wandered into the enclosed patio and found itself trapped, peering nervously through the glass as staff gathered to brainstorm an escape plan.<\/p>\n
Enter Sports Director John Evenson, who channeled his inner MacGyver. Armed with chairs, a step stool, and a broom, Evenson engineered a makeshift ladder designed to guide the squirrel to freedom. The plan? Simple in theory, tricky in execution.<\/p>\n
