The 34-year-old musician seemed to detail the toll his three-year + – = \u00f7 x (pronounced “Mathematics”) Tour<\/a> had on his relationship with his and wife Cherry Seaborn\u2019<\/a>s daughters<\/a>, Lyra, 5, and Jupiter, 3, in one of his new songs, \u201cRegrets.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re too young to understand that Daddy\u2019s coming home. Every time I leave the house, you think I\u2019m forever gone,\u201d he sings in the song. \u201cGuess it\u2019s from the hundred calls, goodnights on the telephone. See this tour, I\u2019ve gotta get it done, but why though? Missed out on so much, I really need to make it up.\u201d<\/p>\n In his song \u201cWar Problems,\u201d Sheeran also seems to candidly outline a few struggles within his marriage with Seaborn, 33.<\/p>\n \u201cEvery day we feel deflated. Tryna roll with all the changes. Reality of what we\u2019ve created,\u201d the lyrics state. \u201cThere\u2019s no one above or below you, you are all I want. But if that feels like too much, then I\u2019ll just say, \u2018I just want to play Saturdays.’ And I think being at a stage in my career where my family life takes precedent and I can do all that as well \u2014 it\u2019s kind of the perfect balance.”<\/p>\n During a July episode of Kylie Kelce<\/a>\u2019s Not Gonna Lie<\/a> podcast, Sheeran shared that Seaborn would often play their daughters his \u201cold catalog stuff\u201d while he\u2019s away on tour.<\/p>\n “When I’m away, she’ll play my songs to them to kind of introduce the music to them slowly,” he said at the time. “And it’s interesting, the ones that they gravitate towards.
