Angel Reese<\/a> drove into the lane before passing to Elizabeth Williams when Aliyah Boston stepped into the paint. Williams went up strong, but Boston smothered her. After grabbing the rebound, Williams tried a turnaround jumper that the Indiana center swatted away.<\/p>\nReese outsmuscled DeWanna Bonner for the rebound before going up for a follow-up shot. Bonner and Boston converged to stifle the Chi Barbie. The referee called a jump ball after the Bonner-Boston combo swallowed Reese\u2019s attempt.<\/p>\n
Boston completed the incredible sequence by outjumping Angel Reese to tap the ball to teammate Kelsey Mitchell. The lefty guard hit a floater in the next possession, forcing the Sky to wave the white flag.<\/p>\n

Boston\u2019s defense was crucial in the Fever\u2019s run to the playoffs. With multiple key players such as Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham suffering season-ending injuries, her defense became even more important.<\/p>\n
The Fever showed their appreciation for Boston by highlighting her defensive plays in 2025.<\/p>\n
