Take his 2.68 FIP, for example, which was much closer to his career mark of 2.45 and not too far off from his \u201925 FIP of 2.06. Everything from a quality-of-pitch-arsenal perspective also checked out, as evidenced by his 114 Stuff+ \u2014 just one point lower than his 2024 score.<\/p>\n
Even with the right-hander\u2019s strikeout rate decline, he remained one of the game\u2019s top swing-and-miss relievers and ranked in the 97th percentile or higher with his strikeout, chase (35 per cent) and whiff rates (37.7 per cent).<\/p>\n
