EUGENE, Ore. (WKRC) – One of the stars of the classic sitcom \u201cHome Improvement\u201d was arrested for the sixth time in five years along with his fianc\u00e9e, police said.<\/p>\n
Zachery Ty Bryan, 44, who played Brad Taylor, the eldest child on \u201cHome Improvement,\u201d was arrested Nov. 29 in Eugene, Oregon, after he allegedly violated his probation tied to a domestic violence conviction he received earlier in 2025<\/a>, according to jail records reviewed by PEOPLE.<\/a><\/p>\n Bryan\u2019s fianc\u00e9e, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, was also arrested and charged with driving under the influence, three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of attempted first-degree assault, according to jail records. Authorities have not released details about the events leading up to the arrests.<\/p>\n PEOPLE reported that Bryan\u2019s previous domestic violence conviction involved Cartwright, with whom he has three children.<\/p>\n The Nov. 29 arrest marks Bryan\u2019s sixth in five years. His first came in 2020 after a drunken dispute between him and Cartwright, TMZ<\/a> reported.
