\n\tEXCLUSIVE: The Artful Dodger<\/a> will be back to its old tricks when it launches on Disney+<\/a> and Hulu<\/a> in February next year.<\/p>\n

\n\tAll episodes of the second season of the Australian Disney+ historical heist original will drop on February 10, 2026, once again featuring characters inspired by Charles Dickens\u2019 \u2018Oliver Twist.\u2019 We\u2019ve got a series of first-look images for you, including a shot of new character Inspector Henry Boxer (Luke Bracey).<\/p>\n

\n\tCo-created by James McNamara, the show stars Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Pistol, The Queen\u2019s Gambit) as Dr Jack Dawkins aka The Artful Dodger, who is living an adult double life in the far-flung penal colony of Port Victory, Australia<\/a>; David Thewlis<\/a> (Landscapers, Fargo) as Norbert Fagin and Maia Mitchell<\/a> (Good Trouble, The Fosters) as Lady Belle Fox. Joining the cast are Bracey (Elvis, Hacksaw Ridge), Jeremy Sims (Mr Inbetween) as Uncle Dickie and Zac Burgess (Cruel Intentions, Boy Swallows Universe) as Phineas Golden.<\/p>\n

\n\tAmong the others returning are Susie Porter as Lady Jane Fox, Damien Garvey as Governor Fox and Tim Minchin as the devious Darius Cracksworth. Lucy-Rose Leonard is back as Lady Fanny Fox, with Nicholas Burton playing Dr Sneed, Kim Gyngell as The Prof and Luke Carroll returning as Tim Billiberllary.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tHere\u2019s the synopsis: \u201cJack\u2019s back! The Artful Dodger returns, and he\u2019s in deep trouble. He\u2019s got an appointment with the noose, he\u2019s being hunted by Inspector Boxer, Port Victory\u2019s new lawman, and if he sees the woman he loves, Lady Belle, he\u2019ll be hanged.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMeanwhile, Lady Belle is determined to forge her future in medicine, defying expectation and stepping into danger, driven by ambition and a love already hanging in the balance. With Boxer competing with Jack for Belle\u2019s affection, the crafty Fagin drags Dodger into their most dangerous heist yet, and a killer is on the loose. \n\tSeason 2, ordered in November 2024<\/a>, filmed in Sydney, Australia and is a Disney+ co-production with Sony Pictures Television<\/a>-owned production house Curio Pictures<\/a>. Jo Porter and Rachel Gardner are executive producers and producers, with McNamara the writer and another executive producer. Cameron Welsh is series producer, with additional writing credits including Dan Knight, Kate Mulvany and Miranda Tapsell. Ben Young (The Twelve, Clickbait), Ben C. Lucas (Nautilus, The Survivors) and Gracie Otto (Ladies in Black, Heartbreak High) serve as directors.<\/p>\n
