Where Drake Maye, Matthew Stafford, More Rank

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye is the top vote-getter in the early fan voting for this year’s Pro Bowl with 31,452 votes, followed by Seattle Seahawks wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba (27,162) and Green Bay Packers edge-rusher Micah Parsons (25,155).

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network shared the early returns:

Maye, 23, has been fantastic this season, throwing for 3,130 yards, 21 touchdowns and six interceptions while completing an impressive 71 percent of his passes and taking 37 sacks. He’s also rushed for 307 yards and two scores.

In the process, the Patriots have gone 10-2 and are one of the best stories in the NFL after being 4-13 in both 2023 and 2024. The combination of Maye and new head coach Mike Vrabel, alongside some smart offseason moves, has catapulted the Patriots into legitimate contention.

The No. 2 quarterback in the fan voting, Matthew Stafford, is in the process of posting a career year. The 37-year-old has thrown for 3,073 yards, 32 touchdowns and just four interceptions this season, completing 66.3 percent of his passes while taking 17 sacks. The Rams are 9-3 on the season and gunning for the top overall seed in the NFC.

While Stafford had a rough Sunday, turning the ball over three times in a 31-28 loss against the Carolina Panthers, he remains among the frontrunners for MVP.

Three running backs (Jonathan Taylor, Jahmyr Gibbs, Christian McCaffrey) and a fullback (Kyle Juszczyk) were four of the top 10 vote-getters. Taylor has received legitimate MVP talk given his 1,282 rushing yards and 17 overall touchdowns, though McCaffrey actually has more overall yards from scrimmage (1,655), isn’t far behind in overall touchdowns (13) and is on pace to exceed 100 receptions for the third time in his career (currently at 85).

And Gibbs (1,019 rushing yards, 13 total touchdowns) remains one of the most explosive playmakers in the sport.

Finally, Myles Garrett comes in No. 8 in the fan voting and probably should be higher—his 19 sacks through 12 games have him on pace to shatter the single-season sacks record held jointly by Michael Strahan and T.J. Watt (22.5).

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye is the top vote-getter in the early fan voting for this year’s…

[63
349,99
0":"post-324697","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-nfl","8":"tag-nfl","9":"tag-sports
["GET
