One of her closest college teammates, Gabbie Marshall, is officially headed to Indianapolis after her partner announced a major career move on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>    Caitlin Clark and Gabbie Marshall Reunion in Indianapolis Coming Soon<\/p>\n<p>The relocation sets up an unexpected reunion between Clark and the former Iowa Hawkeye who spent four seasons\u00a0by her side during one of the most dominant stretches in NCAA women\u2019s basketball history.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, November 30, Marshall\u2019s partner, Spencer Touro, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SportsNStuffx\/status\/1995288769742971150?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">revealed on Instagram<\/a> that he has accepted a new position in Indianapolis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m excited to announce I\u2019ll be joining the @ets.performance.hq team as a Director of Operations in Indianapolis!\u201d Touro wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Not long after his post, Marshall confirmed what Hawkeyes fans were already hoping for: she\u2019ll be moving with him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m so proud of you! \ud83d\ude33\u2764\ufe0f,\u201d she wrote on her Instagram Story, followed by, \u201cIndy \u27a1\ufe0f soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The move places her in the same city as the two-time WNBA All-Star Clark, marking the duo\u2019s first time living in the same area since their final season together at Iowa.<\/p>\n<p>Although Marshall retired from basketball following the 2023\u201324 season and pursued a Master\u2019s in Occupational Therapy at North Carolina, she has consistently supported Clark. She attended multiple Indiana Fever games last summer, making her presence felt even from Chapel Hill. Now, she\u2019ll be right back in the heart of Fever territory.<\/p>\n<p>Before becoming the face of the WNBA, Clark rewrote NCAA history at Iowa, finishing as the all-time scoring leader in Division I history.<\/p>\n<p>Her arrival at the Hawkeyes in 2020 came one year after Marshall\u2019s, and the two quickly formed one of college basketball\u2019s most productive backcourt partnerships.<\/p>\n<p>Marshall appeared in 166 games for Iowa, starting 137, and was known as the team\u2019s defensive anchor and clutch shooter. Together, she and Clark led the Hawkeyes to back-to-back NCAA title game appearances, cementing the program as a national powerhouse.<\/p>\n<p>After college, Clark became the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft and helped lead the Fever to their first postseason appearance in eight years.<\/p>\n<p>Though her second season was plagued by injuries, limiting her to just 13 games, she still put up 16.5 points, five rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game when she did play.
