Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> returned to late-night on Monday (December 1) after the Thanksgiving break<\/a> and jumped right into the controversy over President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s latest Truth Social posts.<\/p>\n During his opening monologue on Monday\u2019s Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/a>, the late-night host read part of Trump\u2019s Thanksgiving message, in which the President took aim at Democrats, immigrants, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz<\/a>, former President Joe Biden<\/a>, and more.<\/p>\n \u201cA very Happy Thanksgiving salutation to all of our Great American Citizens and Patriots who have been so nice in allowing our Country to be divided, disrupted, carved up, murdered, beaten, mugged, and laughed at,\u201d Trump wrote on Truth Social<\/a> last Thursday (November 27).<\/p>\n \u201cI hate to be the one to tell you,\u201d Kimmel responded, \u201cour country isn\u2019t being laughed at\u2026 They\u2019re laughing at you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n He then turned his attention to Trump\u2019s attacks on Walz, whom the President called \u201cseriously retarded.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSee, he can be presidential when he wants to be,\u201d Kimmel mocked. \u201cI wonder why he didn\u2019t get that Nobel Peace Prize. It makes no sense.\u201d<\/p>\n The comedian went on to say how Trump\u2019s post caused \u201cquite an uproar,\u201d even among \u201csome Republicans.\u201d However, the President continued to double down on his statement aboard Air Force One on Sunday (November 30).<\/p>\n When a reporter asked if he stood by his comments calling Walz \u201cretarded,\u201d Trump replied, \u201cYeah, I think there\u2019s something wrong with him.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnother bold statement from the President of the Eighth Grade,\u201d Kimmel retorted.<\/p>\n In response to Trump\u2019s comments, Walz demanded that the President release the results of the MRI scan<\/a> he underwent in October. \u201cYou know the one he still has no idea why he was given?\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cAnd he still doesn\u2019t know why he got it or even where!\u201d<\/p>\n
