The organization advises people to call before taking any action. The Philadelphia Metro Wildlife Center can also accept baby deer.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aark.org\/i-found-an-animal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center<\/a> in Chalfont, Pennsylvania, accepts some rabies-carrying species when space allows.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/acctphilly.org\/wildlife\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ACCT Philly<\/a> also responds to reports of raccoons that are either sick or injured or inside a home \u2014 except for areas such as an attic, crawl space or inside walls. Raccoons brought to ACCT are euthanized.<\/p>\n<p>For injured adult deer, call the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pa.gov\/agencies\/pgc\/wildlife\/wildlife-health\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pennsylvania Game Commission<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you are not able to contain or transport the animal yourself, call <a href=\"https:\/\/winemergencyresponse.com\/about\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wildlife In Need<\/a>, a network of volunteers in Pennsylvania that helps trap and deliver sick, injured or abandoned wildlife.
