The antioxidant is also found in salmon, shrimp, and algae.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_11-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> One study in 2017 suggested that krill oil can reduce dry eye symptoms better than fish oil because of astaxanthin.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_13-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> An older study from 2003 found that krill oil may help individuals manage <a class=\"recommendation-inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.verywellhealth.com\/do-i-have-pms-3522569\" link-destination-recommendation=\"true\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">premenstrual syndrome (PMS) symptoms<\/a> more effectively than fish oil, potentially due to its anti-inflammatory properties.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_15-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> However, you can get similar relief from PMS symptoms or menstrual cramps by adjusting your overall diet, according to Sue-Ellen Anderson-Haynes, MS, RDN, CDCES, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.verywellhealth.com\/dietitian-vs-nutritionist-11837399\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a registered dietitian nutritionist<\/a> based in Boston.\n<\/p>\n<p>  Are Krill Oil Supplements Worth the Price?  <\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_18-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> Antarctic krill oil\u00a0is typically three to four times more expensive than fish oil because of harvesting costs.
