Wilcox has since ascended to the position of director of football under Ineos after a shake-up behind the scenes involving Dan Ashworth<\/a> and Sir Dave Brailsford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to The Daily Mail<\/a>, the United director of football was spotted in a positive mood alongside Red Devils chief operating officer Collette Roche after the match.<\/p>\n

The newspaper added that Wilcox had \u2018repeated\u2019 the same message of \u2018trust the process,\u2019 which has been a \u2018consistent\u2019 slogan that he has echoed around United.<\/p>\n

Jason Wilcox\u2019s position is another major boost for Man Utd manager Ruben Amorim after the Crystal Palace result<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim and Wilcox have shared a close relationship and the pair have been spotted together ahead of United\u2019s away matches in the 2025-26 campaign.<\/p>\n

The 40-year-old United manager<\/a> has received the public backing of Red Devils co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe in recent months after the club\u2019s hit-and-miss form.<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail reported that the behind-the-scenes action at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon also showed how the United first-team<\/a> players feel right now.<\/p>\n

The news outlet added that there was a \u2018sign\u2019 that the Red Devils players \u2018firmly\u2019 felt that United are now positively \u2018trending\u2019 upwards under Amorim\u2019s reign at the club.<\/p>\n
