The former Destiny\u2019s Child member, 44, laughed as she shared that he would often \u201clean\u201d over to her and let out hysterical \u201cone-liners\u201d throughout filming.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re gonna miss him,\u201d she lamented. \u201cAnd that\u2019s why we dedicated this whole space to him because he was one of the masters of creating this space for everybody to just be great.\u201d<\/p>\n
Series host AJ McLean agreed, saying he\u2019s both \u201cproud\u201d and \u201chappy\u201d that the show \u201cis the way [Payne] gets to be remembered because this is truly who he was.\u201d<\/p>\n

Page Six had the privilege of catching up with Rowland, McLean and three of the bands formed on the series \u2014 all of whom remembered Payne as a bright light both in the music industry and the world. Netflix\/Youtube<\/p>\n
The Backstreet Boys member, 47, added, \u201cHopefully we do him proud, his family proud and his fans.\u201d<\/p>\n
He also told us that \u201chilarious\u201d and \u201cwitty\u201d Payne, whom he referred to as \u201can absolute dream,\u201d \u201clit up every room that he walked into.\u201d<\/p>\n
