Indiana Fever star Aliyah Boston has shared her honest feelings about the possibility of Paige Bueckers<\/a> playing with Azzi Fudd in Dallas. The Wings have the first pick in next year’s WNBA draft, and there’s a big chance that they would select Bueckers’ girlfriend to play alongside her.<\/p>\n

Speaking on her “Post Moves” podcast with Candace Parker, Boston predicted that the Wings would draft Fudd. She wasn’t surprised that Dallas got the first pick, but she sees the franchise appealing to their superstar guard and pairing her with a great shooter.<\/p>\n

“I could see them going with Azzi at number one,” Boston said. “Like, I can see it. So I mean, we’re not surprised because they did have the worst record for a little minute, but I could see them going with Azzi still number one.” <\/p>\n

Candace Parker agreed with Aliyah Boston’s prediction, but she also thought that Azzi Fudd<\/a> would fit in with the Minnesota Lynx at No. 2 and the Seattle Storm at No. 3. Parker even suggested Olivia Miles as a potential No. 1 pick for the Dallas Wings.<\/p>\n

The three-time NBA champion explained that Miles is a pure playmaker and would fit in perfectly with Paige Bueckers, especially if the Dallas Wings<\/a> want her to be more of a shooting guard. Parker and Boston also discussed other prospects like Awa Fam from Spain, though they don’t know much about her game.<\/p>\n

As for the Fudd-Bueckers pairing, it’s going to be more logical if Arike Ogunbowale is not returning to Dallas. Fudd is the perfect replacement for Ogunbowale if she decides to sign with a different team in free agency.<\/p>\n

Forbes has released its annual 30 Under 30 List for Sports, and two WNBA players made it this year. Paige Bueckers and Aliyah Boston<\/a> joined 28 other athletes, pioneers and other executives under the age of 30 who are making an impact in their respective fields.<\/p>\n

“After capping her historic UConn career with a national championship, Paige Bueckers was taken No. 1 overall in the 2025 WNBA draft and earned Rookie of the Year honors,” Forbes wrote. “Off the court, she has an equity stake in three-on-three league Unrivaled and a deep bench of sponsors, including Nike, which made her the first college NIL athlete with a Player Edition sneaker, and DoorDash, which named her creative director.”<\/p>\n

Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier was also honored as one of three All-Star alumni, along with Vlad Guerrero Jr. of the Toronto Blue Jays and Kate Pratt Theobald, the commercial director for Liverpool.<\/p>\n
