She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.<\/p>\n BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills<\/a> claimed veteran cornerback Darius Slay<\/a> off waivers and released cornerback Ja’Marcus Ingram<\/a> in a corresponding move, the team announced<\/a> Wednesday.<\/p>\n Slay, 34, was released<\/a> by the Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> on Tuesday after the sides mutually agreed to part ways, his agents told ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Slay was a healthy scratch in the team’s loss to Buffalo on Sunday as the Steelers opted instead to elevate Asante Samuel Jr.<\/a> to the active roster for the game.<\/p>\n Slay played in 10 games for Pittsburgh, starting nine. He recorded 3 passes defensed, 1 fumble recovery, 36 total tackles and 1 tackle for loss.<\/p>\n Editor’s Picks<\/p>\n 2 Related<\/p>\n Slay will serve as another veteran presence in the Bills’ cornerback room and could provide insurance and depth. Starting cornerback Christian Benford<\/a> is coming off a career performance in which he had a fumble recovery touchdown and interception on back-to-back drives en route to being named AFC Defensive Player of the Week.<\/p>\n The Bills have been rotating veteran Tre’Davious White<\/a> and rookie Maxwell Hairston<\/a> at the other starting cornerback spot.<\/p>\n Slay won a Super Bowl with the Eagles<\/a> last season, capping a five-year tenure in Philadelphia.
