Sam Levinson wrote the third season of HBO<\/a> drama series Euphoria<\/a> while listening to the scores of Interstellar\u00a0and\u00a0True Romance, so it\u2019s apt that he\u2019s brought along the man responsible for the third season.<\/p>\n

\n\tHans Zimmer<\/a>, who scored the movies directed by Christopher Nolan and Tony Scott, respectively, has boarded the third season of Euphoria and will compose the score alongside British musician Labrinth<\/a>, who scored the first two seasons.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt comes as the third season of the show, which premiered its second season in 2022, is currently in production<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tZendaya returns as Rue Bennett alongside the likes of Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Eric Dane, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, Dominic Fike and Maude Apatow. Colman Domingo returns as a guest star with Martha Kelly and Chloe Cherry upped to series regulars alongside fresh faces including Rosal\u00eda, Marshawn Lynch, Kadeem Hardison, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Toby Wallace. Barbie Ferreira, however, will not feature in Season 3.<\/p>\n

\n\tSharon Stone <\/a>is also set to make an appearance.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe eight-part season will include a time jump that brings the characters out of high school and is expected to close out the story.<\/p>\n

\n\tLevinson writes, directs and exec produces the series, which comes from A24 and is based on the eponymous Israeli series.<\/p>\n

\n\tZimmer said, \u201cIt\u2019s an honor to join this incredible team of storytellers led by the visionary Sam Levinson. Together, they have crafted such a bold and moving series that has meant so much to audiences. Labrinth\u2019s music has shaped the show\u2019s identity and I\u2019m looking forward to contributing to the ongoing story and helping shape this new season through music.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLabrinth added, \u201cAnother chapter in the\u00a0Euphoria\u00a0universe. So great to join Hans, one of my heroes in film score, and bring some new magic to this new season.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLevinson said, \u201cIt\u2019s a true honor to be working alongside Hans. I wrote this season to the score of\u00a0Interstellar\u00a0and\u00a0True Romance.\u00a0So he\u2019s been ingrained in the creative DNA since the beginning.
