Scarlett Johansson<\/a> is sharing more about the unique name she and husband Colin Jost chose for their son. <\/p>\n

The Oscar-winning actor spoke with Jenna Bush Hager about the process of naming a baby during her Thursday appearance on \u201cJenna and Friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

The conversation was spurred by podcaster Kylie Kelce recently talking about people who don\u2019t like the \u201cboy names\u201d<\/a> she and her husband came up with for their four daughters.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we named our son Cosmo, I actually didn\u2019t tell anybody. … I didn\u2019t want any of the weird face,\u201d Johansson said of the son she shares with Colin Jost, before mimicking a strained facial expression. \u201cYou know when you tell somebody and they go like this, \u2018Oh … that\u2019s … that\u2019s different.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cUnless you like a name, you probably shouldn\u2019t say anything about it. Nobody asked,\u201d Johansson said. \u201cIt does not affect your life at all.\u201d <\/p>\n

Johansson said her mom actually really liked the name, and told her that her \u201cthird grade crush was Cosmo,\u201d so the moniker \u201chad a great meaning for her.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cMy mother-in-law was, like, a few days after, she goes, \u2018Cosimo is a name I can find. That\u2019s a recognizable name,\u2019\u201d the actor added. \u201cAnd I was like, \u2018We\u2019re not going to just insert an \u2018I.\u2019 That\u2019s what it is.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cOur eldest daughter is named Mila, M-I-L-A, which is, like, a perfectly popular name,\u201d Bush Hager said. \u201cAnd [after she was born] my mom called and she\u2019s like, \u2018Now in Texas, they\u2019re calling her \u2018My-la.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n

Bush Hager said her mom, Laura Bush, suggested a different spelling for Mila\u2019s name, which she refused to use. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou want me to change the spelling of my child\u2019s name, because in Texas, they\u2019re mispronouncing her name as \u2018My-la\u2019?\u201d the talk show host shared before adding, \u201cLet\u2019s just let her be.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bush Hager and her husband, Henry Hager, have three children together: Margaret (\u201cMila\u201d), who is 12; Poppy, 10; and Henry (\u201cHal\u201d), 6. <\/p>\n
