The White House posted a video of pop star Sabrina Carpenter promoting deportations, just days after she slammed the Trump administration for using her song in a separate video as \u201cevil and disgusting.\u201d<\/p>\n
In the new video, posted<\/a> on X Friday, the White House altered a clip from Carpenter\u2019s promo for Saturday Night Live, in which she said: \u201cI think I might have to arrest someone for being too hot,\u201d swapping out \u201ctoo hot\u201d for the word \u201cillegal.\u201d <\/p>\n The singer stood next to SNL star Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez, an American whose parents are from Cuba the Dominican Republic, as he stretched out his arms as if ready to be handcuffed, and said: \u201cWell, I turn myself in.\u201d<\/p>\n The White House video then spliced footage of federal agents arresting people as Gucci Mane\u2019s \u201cI Get the Bag\u201d played in the background.<\/p>\n Earlier this week, the White House used Carpenter\u2019s song \u201cJuno\u201d <\/a>in another White House video showing people getting detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.<\/p>\n \u201cThis video is evil and disgusting. Dan Caine gave evidence to members of the House and Senate Armed Services and Intelligence Committees on Thursday, the first of the known lethal strikes against accused drug traffickers, which was conducted on September 2.<\/p>\n The attack has been the subject of outrage amid accusations that Hegseth ordered a second strike to \u201ckill everybody\u201d when two survivors were spotted clinging to wreckage in the ocean following the initial blast.<\/p>\n Admiral Bradley was adamant in his testimony that there had been no second \u201ckill\u201d order but that was not enough to reassure Kentucky Republican Sen. Shri Thanedar has pledged to file two articles of impeachment against Hegseth over his actions against the alleged drug boats and his part in the \u201cSignalgate\u201d scandal.<\/p>\n In a video posted to social media, Thanedar explained: \u201cSecretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is uniquely unqualified for his role. Every day, it becomes clearer he is engaging in unlawful, illegal activity.\u201d<\/p>\n Thanedar said the first would be \u201cfor murder and conspiracy to murder\u201d over the deadly strikes on alleged narco-boats and the second for the \u201creckless and unlawful mishandling of classified information,\u201d referring to Hegseth discussing plans for an airstrike on Houthi rebels in Yemen earlier this year in a group chat on the messaging app Signal.<\/p>\n The congressman went on to lay out his case against the secretary and concluded: \u201cI love the United States of America and will always fight to uphold our Constitution.
