Aniplex<\/a> began streaming the second “true” promotional video on Saturday for the Fate\/strange Fake<\/a> television anime<\/a>. The video reveals and previews 13.3g<\/a>‘s ending theme song “Senzaiteki na Ai” (Potential Love).<\/p>\n

The anime’s website also revealed a “Night ver.” second key visual on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The anime will debut on January 3 at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX<\/a>, BS11<\/a>, Gunma TV<\/a>, and Tochigi TV<\/a>. The first airing will be for 90 minutes, airing both the Fate\/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn-<\/a> special and then the first episode of the main television anime series.<\/p>\n

The anime<\/a> adapts Ryohgo Narita<\/a>‘s Fate\/strange Fake spinoff story.<\/p>\n

The anime was previously slated to premiere<\/a> this year. Crunchyroll<\/a> will stream the series in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS. The English-subbed version of the anime’s first episode debuted<\/a> at the “Fate 20th Anniversary Showcase” event in November 2024. Crunchyroll debuted the anime’s Japanese-dubbed version in December 2024.<\/p>\n

The anime’s Japanese cast, some of which also appeared in the Fate\/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- television anime special, are:\n<\/p>\n

Fate\/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- directors Shun Enokido<\/a> (Fate\/Grand Order commercials, Flip Flappers<\/a> episode director) and Takahito Sakazume<\/a> (Fate\/Grand Order commercials Fate\/Apocrypha<\/a> episode director) are directing the Fate\/strange Fake anime at A-1 Pictures<\/a>. Daisuke Dait\u014d<\/a> (Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045<\/a>, More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers<\/a>) is writing the scripts. Y\u016bkei Yamada<\/a> (Fate\/Apocrypha) is designing the characters and is also the chief animation director, and Hiroyuki Sawano<\/a> (Attack on Titan<\/a>, Mobile Suit Gundam UC<\/a>) is composing the music.<\/p>\n

The earlier Fate\/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- anime special premiered in Japan in July 2023. The special is available on Crunchyroll now with an English dub.<\/p>\n

Narita (Baccano!<\/a>, Durarara!!<\/a>) first published the Fake\/states night story as an April Fool’s joke in April 1, 2008. Narita then developed the story as a Fate\/strange Fake supplement for the Type-Moon<\/a> Ace Vol. 2 magazine, before launching a full-fledged light novel series with illustrations by Shizuki Morii<\/a> in January 2015. Kadokawa<\/a>‘s Dengeki Bunko<\/a> imprint published the ninth light novel volume in March 2024. Morii has also been simultaneously drawing a manga adaptation.<\/p>\n
