Analyzing Shedeur Sanders\u2019 play may result in some legal action.<\/p>\n

Reporter Josina Anderson threatened Athletic reporter Zac Jackson with \u201cappropriate action\u201d after the latter revealed he received scathing messages about his coverage of the Browns quarterback, hinting that it came from Anderson\u2019s sister. He then called out Anderson for \u201cinciting\u201d that type of reaction.<\/p>\n

Anderson then put Jackson on blast.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis defamatory accusation from @AkronJackson of The Athletic on his podcast, is categorically false. I do not have a sister named \u2018Sheila Anderson,\u2019 nor do I have a sister who reached out to Zac Jackson in any form or fashion,\u201d Anderson posted Friday night to X<\/a>. \u201cI listened to the reported podcast, and I can\u2019t believe that Jackson would so recklessly share that story on his platform without checking with me first and verifying the false claim. I will handle this with the appropriate action.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shedeur Sanders has taken over as the Browns\u2019 starting quarterback. AP<\/p>\n

Jackson has not posted a response to his X account as of Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

This reporter-on-reporter drama kicked off after Jackson revealed he received multiple emails and social media messages \u201cfrom someone who was presenting themselves as the sister of Josina Anderson,\u201d as he detailed on his \u201cZac Jackson And Friends\u201d<\/a> podcast.<\/p>\n

He labeled the messages as \u201cvile,\u201d saying they contained \u201cbaseless, personal claims, some very specific wording.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo Shedeur is to forget about what happened in the summer. Aren\u2019t you the same mutt who lied about him last month and what happened during the draft?\u201d one of the messages read, per Awful Announcing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He thought the messages crossed the line to the point that he had to respond, and he replied with a note saying \u201cyou clearly have mental issues,\u201d according to Awful Announcing.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s when the person indicated they were related to Anderson.<\/p>\n

\u201cAh yes, I did send it twice making sure you got my message,\u201d the response said, per Awful Announcing. \u201cThe fact that you responded lets me know I hit a nerve, and I\u2019m surprised you can even read. I\u2019ll let my sister know you actually had balls to reply, but find it odd you haven\u2019t responded to Deion Jr. Typical white cowardly boy afraid to deal with a Black man. I have all the help I need, Brutus. Go write another lie so you can feel superior giving your insecure ass a feeling of power, which is all you got. Have the life you deserve. You live behind a keyboard tearing down Black men who you envy and can never be, and I\u2019m the one that needs to get help? You and your kind are a cancer to humanity. Again, go wash.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zac Jackson claims to have received messages from someone alleging to be Anderson\u2019s sister. @UltimateClevelandSportsShow\/YouTube<\/p>\n

Another email stated: \u201cYou have no idea who you\u2019re dealing with white man. Take a guess at who my sister is. I\u2019ll enjoy seeing the look on your face when you realize it. Take a bath yet? I smell the stench from this email.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jackson then lashed out on his podcast at Anderson, a longtime reporter who has been positive with her coverage of Sanders and has called out what she believes to be bias against Deion Sanders\u2019 son.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd so this person is claiming to be related, and is claiming to pass this message along,\u201d Jackson said, per Awful Announcing. \u201cThat tells me, Josina, that you\u2019re inciting this kind of s\u2013t. And it\u2019s bulls\u2013t. Your mental issues are not my problem. And your opinions are not my problem either.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Jackson said Tuesday he should have \u201cprobably not\u201d revealed the messages to the public, and added that he would be taking the podcast down.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe messages remain ridiculous, the messages remain curious in many ways,\u201d Jackson said. \u201cBut I didn\u2019t need to \u2026 keep the flame ignited, I didn\u2019t need to share the ridiculousness involved with that because I don\u2019t gain from it and you, the listener, don\u2019t gain from it.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Analyzing Shedeur Sanders\u2019 play may result in some legal action.
