The Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs writer and director appeared on The Bret Easton Ellis Podcast<\/a> to reveal his 20 favorite films of the 21st century, and in doing so said There Will Be Blood might have been his top pick if it weren\u2019t for Paul Dano, who he described as the film\u2019s \u201cgiant flaw.\u201d Dano played identical twins Paul and Eli Sunday in Paul Thomas Anderson’s 2007 period drama.<\/p>\n But while Dano was the center of attention this week, Tarantino insulted actors Owen Wilson and Matthew Lillard in the same breath, saying: \u201cI don’t care for him [Paul Dano], I don’t care for Owen Wilson, and I don’t care for Matthew Lillard.”<\/p>\n Lillard reacted to the drive-by insult at GalaxyCon in Columbus, Ohio, on Friday. As reported by Entertainment Weekly<\/a>, Lillard addressed the audience of fans by bringing Tarantino\u2019s insult up.<\/p>\n “Quentin Tarantino this week said he didn’t like me as an actor,” Lillard said. “Eh, whatever. Who gives a s**t?”<\/p>\n Lillard went on to reveal that Tarantino\u2019s words had affected him. “The point is, is that, it hurts your feelings. It f***ing sucks. And he wouldn’t say that to Tom Cruise. He wouldn’t say that to somebody who’s a top-line actor in Hollywood. I’m very popular in this room. I am not very popular in Hollywood. Two totally different microcosms, right? With Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 out the door, he\u2019s set to reprise his role as Stuart “Stu” Macher in Scream 7, and will play a villain in MCU Disney+ show, Daredevil: Born Again Season 2<\/a>.<\/p>\n Tarantino, meanwhile, came under fire from Paul Dano fans this week, and a number of Hollywood big-hitters came to the Riddler actor\u2019s defense<\/a>, too. Tarantino is coming off the back of a Kill Bill collaboration with Fortnite.
