\n\tAfter Quentin Tarantino<\/a> shared his criticism of several actors<\/a>, one such performer is speaking up.<\/p>\n

\n\tMatthew Lillard<\/a> recently admitted \u201cit hurts\u201d after the 2x Oscar-winning director mentioned \u201cI don\u2019t care for\u201d the Five Nights at Freddy\u2019s 2 actor\u2019s onscreen abilities, along with Paul Dano<\/a> and Owen Wilson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cQuentin Tarantino<\/a> this week said he didn\u2019t like me as an actor. Eh, whatever. Who gives a s***,\u201d he told fans while speaking at GalaxyCon<\/a> in Columbus, Ohio, eliciting support from the audience.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cListen, the point is that hurts your feelings. It f***in\u2019 sucks,\u201d added Lillard. \u201cAnd you wouldn\u2019t say that to Tom Cruise. You wouldn\u2019t say that to somebody who\u2019s a top-line actor in Hollywood.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tNoting his popularity among fans of movies like Scream (1996), Scooby-Doo (2002), Five Nights at Freddy\u2019s (2023) and more, Lillard explained, \u201cI\u2019m very popular in this room. I\u2019m not very popular in Hollywood. Two totally different microcosms, right? And so, you know, it\u2019s humbling, and it hurts.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLillard\u2019s comments come after Tarantino, who also has several onscreen credits to his name, included the SLC Punk star in his rant about Dano\u2019s performance<\/a> in There Will Be Blood (2007), which he called \u201ca big, giant flaw\u201d in the Paul Thomas Anderson movie.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cObviously, it\u2019s supposed to be a two-hander, but it\u2019s also drastically obvious that it\u2019s not a two-hander,\u201d he said. \u201c[Dano] is weak sauce, man. He is the weak sister. Austin Butler would have been wonderful in that role. He\u2019s just such a weak, weak, uninteresting guy. The weakest f***ing actor in SAG [laughs].\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTarantino added, \u201cI don\u2019t care for [Dano], I don\u2019t care for Owen Wilson, and I don\u2019t care for Matthew Lillard.\u201d<\/p>\n
