Presley Gerber<\/a> is getting candid about his mental health.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n The 26-year-old model son of Cindy Crawford<\/a> and Rande Gerber<\/a> shared a detailed update on his mental health journey in a video<\/a> posted on Instagram, on Monday, Dec. 1, after being open about his mental health struggles<\/a> in recent years.\n<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like honesty is the best policy\u2026,\u201d Presley began in the clip while sitting in a sauna. He went on to share that he is currently on several depressant medications, including Buprenorphine, Xanax and valium, to treat his \u201cpanic attacks\u201d amid his mental health struggles.\n<\/p>\n \u201c…The benzos have been fluctuating up and down depending on what’s been going on in my life,\u201d Presley continued. \u201cUnfortunately, I’ve had a lot of loss in many different forms recently, so that is not an excuse, but it’s the reason why I am where I’m at now.\u201d\n<\/p>\n The 26-year-old said that he takes Xanax \u201cwhen the panic attacks are really, really bad,\u201d and valium \u201ca little bit in the morning,\u201d adding, \u201cI don\u2019t know if it’s a little bit or a lot, who f—— knows at this point anymore.\u201d\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Presley shared his concerns about using the medications and the different opinions he\u2019s received from doctors about his treatment.\n<\/p>\n \u201cThe doctors say a lot of different things, so it’s kind of scary, but hopefully between my research and their research \u2026 and God, we can figure this out,\u201d he said. \u201c…The things that scare me are the things you need to take \u2026 if you don’t take them, something not good happens. And there’s a spectrum there on how intense the withdrawal from certain medications is.\u201d\n<\/p>\n Presley said that, despite having seen several doctors, he feels like he doesn\u2019t have \u201cas much direction as I would like to have\u201d on his treatment.\n<\/p>\n \u201cI’d like doctors to be like, \u2018Take this three times a day\u2019 \u2026 but every psychiatrist I\u2019ve had \u2014 I\u2019ve had 15 \u2014\u00a0are like, \u2018Here’s 20 medications and take this if you feel like this \u2026 and I’m like, \u2018No, don’t get me that much leeway.\u2019 I need some direction,\u201d he said.\n<\/p>\n Cindy Crawford (left) and her son Presley Gerber in 2024.<\/p>\n Alexander Tamargo\/Getty<\/p>\n Presley shared that he\u2019s found other ways to help improve his mental health, like working out and has stopped drinking alcohol. He said that he also hopes to find a community of people who are \u201cgood influences on me.\u201d\n<\/p>\n \u201cAs I’ve grown up in Hollywood, there\u2019s a lot of people around me that I love to death, but right now I try not to be around them,\u201d he added.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
