Now, more than a decade later, a new witness is finally coming forward to spill the tea on what really went down in the elevator, and you won\u2019t believe who is speaking out.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Back in 2014, after the Met Gala, it went down in the elevator between Beyonc\u00e9, Jay-Z, and Solange. After leaving an afterparty at The Standard Hotel, video footage captured Solange kicking, hitting, and screaming at her brother, Jay-Z, as Beyonc\u00e9 stood aside. The footage was later leaked online<\/a>, causing plenty of online commotion.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Rumors began to circulate, with the most popular rumor centered on the mysterious \u201cBecky,\u201d the unidentified woman mentioned a few times in Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s studio album, \u201cLemonade,\u201d whom many believed was Rachel Roy, Jay-Z\u2019s alleged mistress.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Now, eleven years later, fashion designer Oscar G. Lopez, who designed Rachel Roy\u2019s 2014 Met Gala dress, is speaking out. According to The Daily Mail, Lopez claims that Jay-Z complimented Rachel Roy\u2019s dress at the event, which ticked off Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s little sister, Solange.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that Jay complimented her about the gown and Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s sister felt that it was not proper, so it was a kind of drama there,\u2019 he told The Daily Mail.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t the only altercation that night. It was also reported that Solange was intoxicated and got into a verbal argument with Rachel Roy at the 2014 Met Gala. Witnesses described her as \u201clike a pressure cooker waiting to explode,\u201d citing that she had one too many drinks and was \u201cdancing like a crazy person\u201d by the time performances began.<\/p>\n

Another source said Solange confronted Roy again after arriving at The Standard, prompting another woman to intervene, and Beyonc\u00e9 immediately stepped in. When the woman asked Solange, \u201cWhat is your problem?\u201d Beyonc\u00e9 checked her, saying, \u201cYou don\u2019t get to speak to my sister that way.\u201d Tuh, as she should.<\/p>\n

The whole ordeal made headlines, drawing all eyes to Rachel Roy\u2019s black lace dress designed by Lopez.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Roy got her start as an intern at Rocawear, rose to the role of creative director and later launched her own line.<\/p>\n

Following the 2014 elevator incident, Jay-Z and Solange released a joint statement<\/a> \u201capologizing to one another\u201d for the altercation and said they would \u201cbe moving forward as a family unit.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
