Mitch Marner is an elite playmaker and his production reflects that. Despite adjusting to new linemates, coaches, and systems, Marner has hit the ground running and sits tied for 15th in assists.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s dive deeper into my NHL picks<\/a> for Sunday, December 7.<\/p>\n Golden Knights vs Rangers prediction<\/p>\n Golden Knights vs Rangers Best bet:\u00a0Mitch Marner Over 0.5 assists (-140)<\/p>\n Mitch Marner<\/a> has long been one of the league\u2019s best playmakers. He has taken it up another level in Vegas, with 21 of his 26 points coming by way of assist.<\/p>\n More than 80% of his production has stemmed from creating goals for others, which is the highest rate of his career.<\/p>\n The Golden Knights<\/a> have dealt with some key injuries this season but they\u2019re now at full-strength up front.<\/p>\n All of their stars \u2013 Jack Eichel<\/a>, Mark Stone<\/a>, Tomas Hertl<\/a>, Pavel Dorofeyev<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 are healthy at the same time, leaving Marner plenty of weapons to distribute the puck to at 5-on-5 and on the power play.<\/p>\n He\u2019s facing off against the New York Rangers<\/a> at the right time as well. No. 1 defenseman Adam Fox is out with an injury while Igor Shesterkin<\/a> will get the night off after playing in an overtime game against Colorado on Saturday.<\/p>\n Jonathan Quick<\/a> has played extremely well this season but he had an .894 save percentage just last year.
