Chelsea are weighing up their interest in another of Southampton\u2019s young stars in defender Lewis Day, Hayters understands.<\/p>\n
The central defender is attracting the interest of several clubs, including the Blues.<\/p>\n
Chelsea have a history of raiding Southampton for their academy stars, having previously brought in Jimmy-Jay Morgan from the Saints, who is currently on loan at League One side Peterborough.<\/p>\n
They also brought in Tyler Dibling for a short period, before he returned to his boyhood club and broke into the first team, which was followed by a move to Everton.<\/p>\n
Teenager Day, a first-year scholar at the club, is yet to put pen to paper on a pro contract with Southampton.<\/p>\n
