Cleto and I have been inseparable since I was nine years old.<\/p>\n \u201cThe fact that we got to work together every day is a dream neither of us could ever have imagined would come true.<\/p>\n \u201cCherish your friends and please keep Cleto\u2019s wife, children and parents in your prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n The following day, he discussed Cleto\u2019s life and the profound impact he had on Jimmy during a heartwrenching 20-minute monologue. <\/p>\n Jimmy broke down in tears as he discussed Cleto\u2019s musical talents, his love for being a husband and father, and the trouble they would get into as teens growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada. <\/p>\n The pair had worked together since Jimmy Kimmel Live! premiere back in 2003. <\/p>\n Cleto\u2019s death came just after Jimmy Kimmel Live! returned to air following its temporary suspension back in September. <\/p>\n As The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed, the decision to pull Jimmy Kimmel Live! was made just\u00a0minutes before taping<\/a>\u00a0began on Wednesday, September 17th.<\/p>\n The decision came in the wake of comments Jimmy made<\/a> about political podcast host Charlie Kirk\u2019s death<\/a>. <\/p>\n \n\t\t\t\tEXACTLY WHAT KIMMEL SAID THAT GOT HIM YANKED\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n \n\t\t\t\t\t\tThis is Jimmy Kimmel’s opening monologue from Monday, September 15, that got the show pulled from air.\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \u201cIn between the finger-pointing, the White House flew the flag at half-staff, which got some criticism, but on a human level, you can see how hard the president was taking this,\u201d he continued before the show cut to a clip of Trump.<\/p>\n The president was seen standing on the White House lawn as a reporter asked him how he was \u201cholding up\u201d a day and a half\u00a0following Kirk\u2019s death<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI think very good,\u201d said Trump before abruptly pointing to trucks and saying they are starting construction on the new White House ballroom.<\/p>\n The show then cut back to Kimmel, who said, \u201cHe\u2019s at the fourth stage of grief: construction,\u201d before the audience burst out in laughter.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is not how an adult grieved the murder of someone he called a friend. This is how a 4-year-old mourns a goldfish.
