Mason Mount has now broken his silence on Ruben Amorim\u2019s reaction after Manchester United\u2019s 4-1 drubbing of Wolves at the Molineux on Monday evening.<\/p>\n

Despite the one-sided scoreline at the full-time whistle in the Premier League match, the Red Devils did not make things easy against relegation-threatened Wolves.<\/p>\n

Bruno Fernandes<\/a> broke the deadlock for Ruben Amorim\u2019s<\/a> men in the 25th minute before Jean-Ricner Bellegarde netted a Wolves equaliser in first-half injury time.<\/p>\n

Manchester United dominated Wolves<\/a> after the break and Bryan Mbeumo<\/a> restored the Red Devils\u2019 lead before Mason Mount<\/a> added his name to the scoresheet.<\/p>\n

Bruno Fernandes, who picked up an assist for Mount\u2019s effort, completed United\u2019s 4-1 thrashing of Wolves<\/a> after he dispatched a spot-kick attempt in the 82nd minute.<\/p>\n

Mason Mount started in the attacking frontline of Ruben Amorim\u2019s tactical system for Manchester United<\/a> and the former Chelsea ace impressed with his performance.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old was picked out by a superb chipped ball from Bruno Fernandes and Mount fired a stunning side-footed volley past Sam Johnstone from close range.<\/p>\n

Speaking after the United<\/a> match on Monday, Mount admitted that United players went into half-time \u201cfrustrated and disappointed\u201d after conceding to Wolves.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was an important win for us,\u201d he told Sky Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, first half, we let them back in it before half-time and we go into the changing room frustrated and disappointed with the end to the first half.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mount revealed that Amorim spoke directly with the players in the United dressing room and the Red Devils had to step up their performance for the second half.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe manager had a few things to say and we come out there and it was down to us to attack with purpose and finish our chances we were creating,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re happy with the second half, parts of the first half as well. Overall, very happy with that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mount played 84 minutes in United\u2019s attacking set-up before Amorim made the call to withdraw the Red Devils midfielder and replace him with Joshua Zirkzee<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The United No 7<\/a> made his feelings clear that Amorim\u2019s men showed their quality in both the attack and defence by how they played against Wolves on Monday.<\/p>\n

\u201cAttacking with freedom,\u201d Mount said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought some of the combinations going forward were crisp, were sharp and that\u2019s what we can do.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know we can do that. It\u2019s about us creating as many chances as we can as forward players and trying to get on the scoresheet.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought going forward we were solid, and as a defence it\u2019s about defending as a team and not letting them have any chances to get back into the game.\u201d<\/p>\n

United will now return to Premier League action at Old Trafford<\/a> next Monday and the Red Devils will host Bournemouth for an 8pm kick-off time in the UK.<\/p>\n
