Booz Allen Hamilton<\/a> is in, and Puttshack<\/a> might be out at Reston Station.<\/p>\n

Developer Comstock Companies announced last month that the federal contractor will move its corporate headquarters<\/a> to Reston Row, occupying 310,000 square feet. That includes the entire office building at 1870 Reston Row Plaza, where over 29,000 square feet had been reserved for Puttshack<\/a> for the past three years.<\/p>\n

As flagged by community members on Reddit<\/a>, the high-tech, indoor mini golf venue is no longer listed on Reston Station\u2019s directory<\/a>, and Puttshack\u2019s website has dropped any mention of a future Reston location.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for residents looking forward to a new dining and entertainment option, Comstock confirms that Puttshack won\u2019t be coming to Reston Station \u2014 at least for now.<\/p>\n

\u201cFollowing the execution of the new Booz Allen lease at Reston Station, the space previously under consideration for Puttshack will now be incorporated into Booz Allen\u2019s expanded footprint,\u201d a Comstock spokesperson told FFXnow. \u201cAs a result, Puttshack will not be moving forward at Reston Station.\u201d<\/p>\n

Puttshack didn\u2019t respond to a request for comment by press time, but Comstock\u2019s spokesperson added that the developer is still engaged in \u201ccontinued discussions with them to find an alternate position in the project.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Reston location would be the first in the D.C. metropolitan area for Puttshack, which combines a nine-hole, \u201ctech-infused\u201d mini golf course with a restaurant. Headquartered in Chicago, the company\u2019s closest location to Fairfax County is currently in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

In addition to potentially finding room elsewhere for Puttshack, Comstock indicated that it\u2019s still looking for additional retail tenants to host at Reston Station.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe continue to see strong interest in the district and are actively curating a mix of retail, dining, and entertainment concepts that complement the vision for Reston Station,\u201d the Comstock spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

The second phase of Comstock\u2019s development outside the Wiehle Metro station, Reston Row consists of two office buildings \u2014 the 9-story 1870 Reston Row and 13-story 1800 Reston Row Plaza \u2014 as well as the recently opened<\/a> JW Marriott Hotel and Residences and the 419-unit BLVD Haley<\/a> apartment building, whose first homes are now ready for move-ins, per its website.<\/p>\n

The bakery Tous les Jours and Vida Fitness are currently open<\/a> in 1800 Reston Row Plaza.
