Recently, one of the strongest proponents has been Millie Bobby Brown<\/a>, who has embraced a number of transparent ensembles<\/a> while promoting the final season of her hit sci-fi series Stranger Things<\/a>. So, it was no surprise to see the young actor keeping her streak up while visiting The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon over the weekend.<\/p>\n

For her talk show visit, Brown chose a black pointelle catsuit<\/a> from Mani\u00e8re De Voir, which featured a chunky leather belt that was merely there for decoration, rather than utility (another trend<\/a> we\u2019ve seen quite a lot of recently).<\/p>\n

Underneath her knit look, Brown layered a pair of matching black boy shorts, while slipping into a set of pointy suede heels in an inky hue that morphed seamlessly with the catsuit. Originally, the Mani\u00e8re De Voir piece was styled as an off-the-shoulder look, but Brown pulled the straps up over her shoulders for more of a scoop-neck effect.<\/p>\n

Finally, she left her hair down in loose waves, while accessorizing with a set of silver hoop earrings and rings to match\u2014including her cushion-cut diamond engagement ring<\/a> from husband Jake Bongiovi.<\/p>\n

With this fit, as well as recent others courtesy of Colleen Allen<\/a> and Valentino<\/a>, Allen has been on somewhat of a revenge-dressing streak<\/a>, following her split from David Harbour and the subsequent release of her tell-all divorce album, West End Girl.<\/a><\/p>\n

Of course, Brown is well acquainted with Harbour, having worked with him closely throughout the last five seasons of Stranger Things. (Earlier rumors suggested that she was bullied by the actor on set, but those have since been debunked<\/a>.) \u201cWe love this show with everything, and we value our friendship more than anything,\u201d she told The Hollywood Reporter.<\/p>\n

Still, is it possible that Brown was sending a subtle message to Allen with her latest look? Coincidence or not, pointelle clearly suits these two West End girls well.<\/p>\n
