Michael Bubl\u00e9<\/a> just shared some incredible photos from a weekend that he called “an experience beyond anything we could have dreamed of.”<\/p>\n

In a December 8 Instagram carousel, the 50-year-old singer<\/a> showed off photos from his recent trip to the Vatican, where he performed for Pope Leo XIV during the church’s annual Concert With the Poor event. Of course, Bubl\u00e9 didn’t make the trip alone. He brought along his wife, Luisana Lopilato<\/a>, and his parents, too.<\/p>\n

The photos are stunning, and Bubl\u00e9 and his mom, Amber Santag\u00e0, were both beaming with joy.\u00a0The best part? Everyone was able to meet the Pope, a once-in-a-lifetime honor that few people receive. See all of Michael Bubl\u00e9’s photos from his Vatican visit here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the carousel’s caption, Bubl\u00e9 wrote about the magnitude of the experience.<\/p>\n

“Standing before His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV, alongside my wife Lu, my parents and my friends was an experience beyond anything we could have dreamed of,” the star wrote. “To share a few moments with someone whose kindness, humility, and compassion have touched so many was truly unforgettable. This day has filled us with peace, hope and a renewed sense of faith and we are deeply grateful.”<\/p>\n

(And for the record, Bubl\u00e9’s live Vatican performance was so good that even the Pope couldn’t resist singing along<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Fans of The Voice will be happy to know that Bubl\u00e9’s family wasn’t the only lucky ones to get an invite to meet the Pope. Longtime TODAY<\/a> correspondent and current Voice host Carson Daly<\/a> and his wife, Siri<\/a>, also made the trip.<\/p>\n

Like Bubl\u00e9, Daly had a very spiritual reaction to meeting Pope Leo<\/a>. In a December 8 essay penned for TODAY.com<\/a>, Daly explained that he chose his words to the Pope very carefully, ultimately deciding to focus on his family.<\/p>\n

“Holy Father, we’re so honored,” Daly wrote, recalling what he told Pope Leo. “I’m Carson, this is my wife, Siri\u2026 We ask that you pray for our children, that God may continue to hold their hands when we no longer can. Thank you. God bless you.”<\/p>\n
