Comedian Jimmy Kimmel roasted Donald Trump\u2019s plan to host an Ultimate Fighting Championship fight on the White House lawn<\/a> on his birthday. <\/p>\n

The Jimmy Kimmel Live host, who often uses his high-profile platform to make jokes at Trump<\/a> and his administration\u2019s expense<\/a>, called the president a \u201cchild\u201d for the proposed plan. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe event will take place on June 14, which just happens to be his 80th birthday. Whose 80th birthday theme is inviting men to beat the c–p out of each other on his lawn? The most miserable son of a b—h in the world, that\u2019s who,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

The late-night host added that the weigh-ins, in which UFC fighters step on a scale before the competition, will be held at the Lincoln Memorial. <\/p>\n

\u201cThat is not a joke,\u201d Kimmel said. <\/p>\n

\u201cThese are the same people who are all, \u2018Don\u2019t you dare desecrate the flag.\u2019 Totally fine with guys in their underpants at the foot of Abraham Lincoln,\u201d continued Kimmel. \u201cBut it\u2019s his birthday, he has to have a party for his birthday. What a child he is. Everyone around him treats him like he\u2019s three years old.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel and Trump are regular foes. The comedian was suspended from ABC for six days following threats from Trump\u2019s Federal Communications Commission Chair in September. Since his comeback, he has continued calling out the president.<\/p>\n

Kimmel\u2019s contract<\/a> has also been renewed through the 2026-2027 season.<\/p>\n

Trump outlined the UFC event<\/a> at the Kennedy Center Honors on Monday, saying an arena with a capacity of 5,000 seats is being built for the event. The fight has been generating buzz since September, when UFC CEO Dana White confirmed on social media, \u201cThe White House fight is on.\u201d Trump\u2019s daughter, Ivanka, a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, is playing a role<\/a> in the process. <\/p>\n

The president is a longtime fan of UFC and has been a collaborator with White<\/a> since the early 2000s<\/a>, when Trump\u2019s Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City played host to UFC fights<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trump has insisted he didn\u2019t plan the event to coincide with his 80th birthday. \u201cIt\u2019ll be on Sunday night, June 14, [on] Flag Day. It happens to be my birthday, but I didn\u2019t do it for that reason. \u2018Sir, we like the June 14 date.\u2019 I said, \u2018Yeah, that\u2019s my birthday,\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cThey didn\u2019t know it. But they picked it.
