Co-chair or not, this marks Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s first appearance at the event in a decade. She was last photographed on the museum\u2019s epic stairway in 2016 at the Manus x Machina-themed event.<\/p>\n
Kidman and Williams, on the other hand, have been regulars at the major gala for years.<\/p>\n
Just last year, Kidman honored fashion history by wearing a re-creation of a 1952 Balenciaga gown.<\/p>\n
At the same event, Williams chose to pay homage to her roots with a high-fashion version of courtside style, designed by Lacoste.<\/p>\n
In everything that they wear, on and off the stage and court, all three women use couture to celebrate the body. They also use their influence to champion the designers they choose to wear.<\/p>\n
As such, they exemplify the coming exhibit\u2019s theme completely.
