Shedeur Sanders said on Wednesday that he\u2019s focused on being the Browns\u2019 starting quarterback in Week 15 and not on the final three weeks of the season. <\/p>\n
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said this week that Sanders will be the team\u2019s starter for the rest of the regular season. That commitment gives Sanders, who has started the last three games, an extended chance to make his case for the job in 2026, but he said at a press conference that he\u2019s only looking at this week when asked about the implications of Stefanski\u2019s announcement. <\/p>\n
\u201cYeah, that\u2019s a long, deep thought,\u201d Sanders said, via a transcript from the team. \u201cLike, that\u2019s not in my focus. My focus right now is the team we\u2019re playing ahead, the Bears \u2014 anything past that I\u2019m not really focused on, honestly. I\u2019m thankful for it, but I\u2019m not content with my situation, with everything. And we\u2019re leading this team.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sanders made his debut in the second half of a Week 11 loss to the Ravens.
