The fifth and final season of \u201cStranger Things\u201d continues with Season 5: Volume 2 on Christmas Day at 8pm ET, with three episodes in total making up the season\u2019s second volume.<\/p>\n
The FINAL EPISODE of the series will follow in its wake on New Year\u2019s Eve.<\/p>\n
But before we get to the show\u2019s epic finale, co-creator Ross Duffer has taken to Instagram this afternoon to preview the three new episodes of \u201cStranger Things\u201d arriving on Christmas.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s what one half of the Duffer Brothers had to say about each of them\u2026<\/p>\n
\u201cChapters Five, Six and Seven: locked, mixed, scored, colored\u2026 Volume Two is DONE.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cShock Jock picks up moments after the end of Sorcerer. Frank Darabont is back, but he flexes very different muscles on this one than he did on Turnbow Trap\u2014 it\u2019s far darker, and far scarier.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cEscape from Camazotz is Shawn Levy\u2019s return to the director\u2019s chair. It\u2019s the biggest episode of the three\u2014 and the performances make us cry every time we watch it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Bridge\u2026 we co-directed this one with Shawn. Don\u2019t want to say too much, but aside from the finale, it\u2019s probably the most emotional chapter of the season.\u201d<\/p>\n
Duffer adds, \u201cIt\u2019s gonna be a long six day wait for the finale\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
Ross Duffer also promises that episode runtimes are coming soon.<\/p>\n
