Shaw Avenue has been reopened, and all vehicles and debris have been cleaned up.<\/p>\n
At approximately 4:30 p.m., there was a collision involving a motorcyclist and another vehicle on Shaw and Rowell avenues, across the street from the Fresno State Residence Halls.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Both drivers remained at the scene and were cooperative with law enforcement, according to Fresno Police Department Lt. Alfonso Castillo.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The motorcycle driver did sustain injuries and is currently in the hospital.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re receiving treatment now, but they are going to be in stable, OK conditions,\u201d Castillo told The Collegian.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Castillo also said there is no indication of criminal activity or DUI.<\/p>\n
Shaw Avenue from Cedar to Barton avenues is closed at the moment, and police officers remain at the scene waiting for tow trucks to remove the vehicles and debris.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The involved parties are not affiliated with Fresno State.<\/p>\n
