Primarily a blocking tight end, he has only one catch for 12 yards in the seven games he\u2019s played in this season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">The Seahawks brought Saubert over from the San Francisco 49ers, where he played a similar blocking role, appearing in 35% of the 49ers\u2019 offensive snaps in 2024. Notably, Saubert worked with Klay Kubiak, brother of the Seahawks\u2019 current offensive coordinator, Klint Kubiak, in San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Saubert entered the league in 2017 as a fifth-round draft pick of the Atlanta Falcons and has bounced around the league in his nine years. His best season came in 2022 as a member of the Denver Broncos, when the Drake alum caught 15 passes for 148 yards and six touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">The 31-year-old was activated off IR this week and is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fieldgulls.com\/seattle-seahawks-news\/157374\/seahawks-elijah-arroyo-out-jalen-sundell-questionable-vs-colts\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">questionable to make his return<\/a> to the Seahawks\u2019 lineup against the Indianapolis Colts.
