Emily\u2019s not actually in Paris. She\u2019s in Rome, where she\u2019s been busy leading Agence Grateu\u2019s new Italian headquarters and canoodling with her cashmere-scion boyfriend Marcello. But la dolce vita starts to sour when a work choice backfires and, as has become custom for Ms. Cooper, both her professional career and personal life get thrown into charming European chaos. Human Specimens (Prime Video, Thursday, 3 a.m., miniseries\u00a0 premiere)<\/p>\n
Drive My Car star Hidetoshi Nishijima leads this five-chapter adaptation of the Kanae Minato novel, a psychological thriller centered on a butterfly researcher who confesses to turning six young boys, including his own son, into \u201chuman specimens.\u201d Ry\u00fbichi Hiroki,\u00a0 who previously brought Minato\u2019s bestseller Bosei to the screen in 2022\u2019s Motherhood, directs.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Queens Of The Dead (AMC+, Friday, midnight)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
When a zombie apocalypse breaks out during a giant Brooklyn warehouse party (as they\u2019re wont to do), a motley crew of drag queens, club kids, and feuding frenemies must put their personal beefs aside to battle the flesh-hungry undead. Tina Romero writes and directs, and the queer cast includes Love Lies Bleeding star Katy O\u2019Brian, theater fave Cheyenne Jackson, Drag Race alum Nina West, and comedy mainstay Margaret Cho.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
