It immediately turned around and nearly handed out some swift karma.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">You can watch the truly stunning footage below, and let me know your thoughts at David.Hookstead@outkick.com.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">I shouldn&#8217;t be surprised given how regularly these <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outkick.com\/category\/nature\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">nature<\/a> videos go viral, but part of me is always stunned when there&#8217;s new footage.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Now, it is possible the man had solid intentions. As one commenter noted, the slap did distract the bear long enough so that it didn&#8217;t come face-to-face with a family with kids. Still.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">How the hell is any human on the planet this dumb \u2014 or brave \u2014 and still alive? That&#8217;s not a little kid. That appears to be a full-grown adult man.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">I don&#8217;t care how tough or strong you think you might be. Nobody is squaring up with a pissed off bear and coming out the winner.
