Jessica Simpson has joined the pantheon of greats who\u2019ve peed their pants on stage, we hear, after she accidentally let loose live on the \u201cToday\u201d show on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The pop singer performed a medley as part of the NBC breakfast show\u2019s summer concert series, and she\u2019s such a pro that viewers wouldn\u2019t have known anything was amiss.<\/p>\n

But Page Six hears that after the \u201cNewlyweds\u201d star returned backstage after her performance, she\u2026 spilled\u2026 to people in the greenroom.<\/p>\n
Those high notes can be hazardous, it seems.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s pretty common, in fact. Greats including Pattie Labelle, Fergie, Joe Jonas, Ed Sheeran and Hugh Jackman have all had onstage bathroom mishaps.<\/p>\n

Jackman, for example, once said on Rachael Ray\u2019s show that he\u2019d been appearing in \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d early in his career, and had been drinking a ton of water to treat headaches.<\/p>\n
\u201cI go down to the stage, getting ready for my first number\u2026and I\u2019m like I really need to go again,\u201d he said, \u201c[The routine is] the most cardiovascular song I\u2019ve ever done: literally I\u2019m picking up Belle and as I pick her up, I stopped singing and right in that moment I realized the muscles you need to release in order to sing are the ones you do not want to release if you need to go.\u201d<\/p>\n

Simpson herself hasn\u2019t been shy about her public peeing. <\/p>\n
In 2023 she posted a picture of herself at a photoshoot with the caption, \u201cWhen you gotta go, you gotta go. Set life.\u201d It showed her squatting in the corner of what appears to be a large tent.<\/p>\n
