Hugo Ekitike<\/a> has discussed the \u2018secret\u2019 Instagram account that he uses to post non-football related content, saying it makes him feel more relatable.<\/p>\n

The Frenchman has been Liverpool\u2019s signing of the summer, scoring 10 goals in 23 appearances since his potential \u00a379 million move from Eintracht Frankfurt.<\/p>\n

Ekitike\u2019s brilliance as a footballer isn\u2019t the only thing that has endeared him to Reds supporters, however, with his personality also shining through.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old\u2019s secondary second Instagram account<\/a> is popular among fans online, allowing the striker to showcase his off-field activity.<\/p>\n

Speaking to All Red Video<\/a>, Ekitike talked about why he has the account and how it makes him feel more down-to-earth away from his life as a world-famous sportsman.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first time I\u2019ve seen that, it [was from] an NBA player who was doing that,\u201d Ekitike said. <\/p>\n

\u201cI found that kind of cool. I think I could do even more good.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me it\u2019s personal, so you can\u2019t really judge what I do. I feel like you can\u2019t really express yourself. <\/p>\n

\u201cLike every time I go on my account, I know I\u2019m going to post football stuff, can\u2019t really post if you\u2019re happy or you\u2019re not.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like the second one because it\u2019s more like mood. I can show how I feel, what makes me love. <\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s what people need because they only see proper posts of footballers. I\u2019m human. It\u2019s just to show I\u2019m just like you. I think more people should do that.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know what, I think I take more time to choose the song than the pictures. I think the music makes me take time to post.\u201d<\/p>\n
