Its X account posted an altered advertisement for the 2000 movie that shows the Grinch holding handcuffs instead of an ornament. Law enforcement is seen arresting someone at the bottom of the poster, and the film\u2019s title is changed to \u201cHow the Illegals Stole Healthcare.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cCc: Democrats,\u201d the White House captioned the picture<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cHate, hate, hate. Double hate. Loathe entirely.\u201d<\/p>\n The National News Desk requested comment from Dr. Seuss Enterprises, which oversees the author\u2019s works, and Universal Pictures, one of the studios behind the movie, but neither company has responded. Imagine Entertainment, another studio, was unable to be reached.<\/p>\n The Trump administration has claimed that Democratic lawmakers want to give free healthcare to immigrants who are in the country illegally, although top members of the party have denied that idea. President Donald Trump shared a fake video<\/a> on social media before the government shutdown that depicts House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer saying they could win the immigrants\u2019 votes by giving them free healthcare, but both Democrats rejected the post.<\/p>\n \u201cIf we give all these illegal aliens free healthcare, we might be able to get \u2018em on our side so they can vote for us. They can\u2019t even speak English, so they won\u2019t realize we\u2019re just a bunch of woke pieces of sh*t, you know?\u201d Schumer is depicted saying. \u201cAt least for a while, until they learn English and they realize they hate us too.\u201d<\/p>\n Schumer and Jeffries said in a joint statement<\/a> days later that Trump had become more \u201cerratic and unhinged\u201d as the shutdown began.<\/p>\n \u201cInstead of negotiating a bipartisan agreement in good faith, he is obsessively posting crazed deepfake videos,\u201d the lawmakers said.<\/p>\n
