Amla candy<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmla is great, amla candy is not,\u201d Amita explains. \u201cIt\u2019s loaded with sugar.\u201d Instead, she suggests adding fresh grated amla to your chutneys, dal, sabzis, and salads to reap the benefits without the extra sugar.<\/p>\n<p> 2. Chyawanprash<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know this is an unpopular opinion, but chyawanprash is something you don\u2019t really need,\u201d says Amita. \u201cA vegetable soup has far more <a class=\"backlink\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/lifestyle\/health\/is-your-skin-lacking-nourishment-dermat-shares-signs-steps-to-add-antioxidants-to-skincare-routine-101747223913339.html\" data-vars-page-type=\"story\" data-vars-link-type=\"Manual\" data-vars-anchor-text=\"antioxidants\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">antioxidants<\/a> than chyawanprash, and it\u2019s also packed with sugar. Dry fruit laddus<\/p>\n<p>While nutrient-dense, dry fruit laddus can be extremely high in calories. \u201cOne laddu can easily have around 200 calories. If you\u2019re trying to lose fat, a tight fistful of nuts is more than enough,\u201d she advises.<\/p>\n<p> 4. Ready-packaged soups<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReady-package soups are a lot of sodium with barely any other nutrients,\u201d Amita warns. She recommends sticking to homemade soups instead.<\/p>\n<p> 5.
