\n\tEspresso martinis were not on order as Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> joined Seth Meyers<\/a> for an edition of his Late Night<\/a> segment \u201cDay Drinking.\u201d The pair got together at New York City bar the Ripple Room to imbibe several drinks on camera\u2014starting with a very unexpected beer, which they both attempted to chug.<\/p>\n

\n\tMeyers kicked off the episode with a round of \u201cSpill the Tea,\u201d where he and Carpenter asked each other personal questions. They could either answer the question or take a \u201cbig sip\u201d from a punch bowl filled with an enormous Long Island iced tea. Carpenter elected to drink instead of disclose who she wrote \u201cManchild\u201d<\/a> about while Meyers refused to tell Carpenter her worst sketch while hosting<\/a> Saturday Night Live earlier this year. <\/p>\n

\n\tAfter inexplicably donning red light therapy masks, Meyers asked Carpenter, \u201cWhat\u2019s the most unhinged thing you\u2019ve ever done to impress a crush?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI don\u2019t think I\u2019ve tried to impress anyone,\u201d she replied, acknowledging that she has too much self-respect to do so. \u201cThat\u2019s such a boring answer. I try to be myself.\u201d She did share that someone with a crush her once \u201cstole an article of clothing from my house.\u201d She added, \u201cBut did it work? No.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tLater, Meyers tasked Carpenter with reading out barista orders. When she messed up, which she repeatedly did, she had to take a drink. As the drinks started to take hold, Meyers inquired about Carpenter\u2019s first job (playing a victim on Law & Order: SVU) and then introduced a game called \u201cPet Sounds,\u201d where the duo tried to make the sounds of random animals. Carpenter failed to capture a barn owl, but nailed a raccoon fighting. At one point Carpenter quipped, \u201cI\u2019m usually sober when I\u2019m working.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTowards the end of the segment, Meyers turned to holiday-themed games, including one where the duo had to quickly unwrap Christmas gifts while wearing oven mitts. Inside the gifts? More drinks, of course. After making an incredible mess, Meyers inquired, \u201cI don\u2019t know, is this even a good thing to do on TV?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCarpenter and Meyers finished the day by having her decorate him like a Christmas tree while singing Christmas carols, an activity that went surprisingly well considering their level of inebriation. <\/p>\n

\n\tMeyers has regularly invited musicians and actors to appear on \u201cDay Drinking\u201d with him.
