Just the other day, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan remarked, half-jokingly, that although he\u2019s in charge of panchayat affairs, he never expected to deal with film-related “panchayats” too.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s a fair point \u2014 his film Hari Hara Veera Mallu faced a series of production hurdles and financial challenges over five years, making many doubt whether the film would ever see the light of day. But thanks to Pawan Kalyan\u2019s persistence, it finally did.<\/p>\n
Behind the scenes, several of Pawan\u2019s close associates reportedly played crucial roles in making this release possible.<\/p>\n
With support from AP Film Chamber Chairman Bharat Bhushan and trusted aide Lingamaneni Ramesh, key negotiations were held to resolve financial bottlenecks.<\/p>\n
In the Nizam region, Mythri Movie Makers, who are also producing a film with Pawan, stepped in through their distribution wing.<\/p>\n
One major figure in this whole operation was Viswaprasad, a key stakeholder in the distribution business.<\/p>\n
Reportedly, the producers owed a leading finance company around \u20b9180 crore, including interest. Through intense negotiations, they settled it for about \u20b9120 crore via media settlements.<\/p>\n
However, industry talk suggests there was still a shortfall of \u20b935 crore that needed to be managed \u2014 and this is where Viswaprasad came forward.<\/p>\n
A close associate of both Pawan Kalyan and Nadendla Manohar, Viswaprasad took full responsibility to bridge the remaining gap.<\/p>\n
Perhaps it was out of loyalty, or perhaps because he sees potential in producing another film with Pawan in the future, given that the actor-politician currently has no other projects lined up.<\/p>\n
Pawan himself acknowledged Viswaprasad\u2019s vital role during the film\u2019s pre-release event, highlighting his support.<\/p>\n
