As you may have seen from our coverage<\/a> this morning, today Best Buy launched a 24-hour Tech the Halls sale<\/a> and one of the featured deals has a load of Apple Watch Ultra 2 models at $250 off<\/a>. This is the price drop we spotted for Black Friday this year and\u00a0quite a notable one when it comes to brand new units. It\u2019s no Ultra 3, but it\u2019s still a solid wearable and just about every configuration and color Best Buy and Amazon<\/a> sells is now $250 off.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Apple Watch Ultra 2 carried, and by and large still does carry, the same $799 starting list price you\u2019ll find on the Ultra 3<\/a>. While Apple\u2019s newest pro-grade wearables are seeing some slight deals<\/a> on Amazon right now, there\u2019s nothing approaching the $100 off we tracked for Black Friday this year. The Ultra 2 however, is heavily discounted ahead of the holidays right now with straight up $250 price drops now live at both major retailers on the Black and Natural Titanium case options with several bands at the ready as well:<\/p>\n

Over at Best Buy, the $250 price drops also carry over to the more premium configuration that includes Apple\u2019s Milanese Loop as well:<\/p>\n

Best Buy is listing these deals as a today only affair, so there\u2019s no telling whether or not they will still be available tomorrow at $250 off. <\/p>\n

Again, the Ultra 2 certainly isn\u2019t the Ultra 3, but I for one will be sticking with the Ultra 2 for the time being, or at least until the price on the Ultra 3 drops significantly online. The now previous-generation model is still a perfectly capable wearable, one you can score for a whole lot less, and one that looks nearly identical anyway.\u00a0<\/p>\n
